Roger J. Wendell

Elected May, 2022.
Term expires May, 2025. Eligible for re-election.

I grew up in Aurora, having started my public service as an appointed member of their Election Commission, as well as an Election Judge in the early 80s. During the mid 80s I held a position with the City of Aurora's Water Conservation department and then returned to the federal government to complete a 31 year career as a manager.

In 2002 I moved to Green Mountain and have lived at that same address ever since. In addition to my career I served as a volunteer Wildland Firefighter and also founded a Colorado nonprofit that was heavily involved in the opposition to the Army Corps of Engineers' Two Forks Dam project.

Over my many years of public service I have consistently opposed unchecked Front Range growth and urban sprawl, as well as strongly opposing any financial and/or political public assistance for the benefit of development interests.

I remain a conservationist and am deeply concerned about rising water rates, government inefficiency, and the unnecessary influence developers have over our quality of life in Colorado.
