Experience: Construction, highway and land surveying prior to joining USGS in 1965 as a Civil Engineering Technician, 10 years of field operations including topographic mapping, public land survey system corner evaluation, accuracy testing and geodetic surveying; Civil Engineer supervising my last 2 field projects. Supervised cartographic mapping units, performed final quality control on maps to be published. Supervised contracting unit and supervisor and records manager of all mapping materials for the western U. S. when I retired after 32.5 years of service. Served two terms on the Credit Committee and two terms on the Board of Directors of The Credit Union of Denver. Currently Registered Land Surveyor and Professional Engineer if the State of Colorado. President of the Grater Denver Area Mineral Council (501 C3) and co chair of exhibits of the Denver Gem and Mineral Show in September. Colorado Inactive Mine Reclamation Program, 5 year member of Advisory Committee. Claim holder and operator of one mining claim in Utah and three claims in Colorado.
Education: Engineer of Mines (Professional) Degree, 1974, Colorado School of Mines. Senior Member, Society of Mining Engineers and member of Denver Region Exploration Geologists Society and Denver Mining Club.
Why I Am Running? I wish use my previous BOD experience and geologic and engineering knowledge relating to pipe systems.
