Customers are required to follow watering guidelines provided in a mailer from Denver Water. Information on this program is available on our Current Water Restrictions web page and on Denver Water’s web site.

No watering between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. from May 1st to September 30th.

Seed and sod permits will not be required for new plantings, but contact us to arrange a watering schedule for new plantings and sod. Your continued efforts to conserve this most precious resource are greatly appreciated.

Please refer to the District's latest newsletter for our current water rates. The customers of the district are encouraged to continue their efforts in water conservation and the preservation of trees and shrubs through deep watering. Water Restrictions are based on Denver Water's Summer Water Use Program for 2009.

The District provides water and sewer service to approximately 9,500 residential customers and 673 commercial accounts and the area serviced is approximately 9.5 square miles. The District is about 95% developed.

The District has a Master Meter Contract with Denver Water Department. Water is purchased by the District wholesale from Denver Water and is measured through metering stations at 4th and Independence, and at W. Jewell Avenue and W. Yale Avenue.

The District has a Special Connectors Agreement with the Metro Wastewater Reclamation District. The District pays the Metro District annual charges based on flows and strength of flows measured at the Weir Gulch metering station, and the Iliff and Morrison Road metering station.
